Claude Power Tools respects your privacy. This extension reads usage data from Claude's official organization API only. No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted beyond what's necessary to display your usage.
What Data We Access
- Claude organization usage API responses (5-hour and 7-day token counts)
- Your Claude API key (stored locally in browser extension storage only)
- Usage timestamps and reset times
Where Data is Stored
- All data stored locally in your browser via Chrome extension storage
- No data sent to our servers or third parties
- API key never leaves your machine
- Usage data cached locally for offline access
What We Don't Do
- Don't collect or store your API key on remote servers
- Don't track your usage patterns or chat history
- Don't share data with third parties
- Don't send analytics or telemetry
- Don't monetize your data
Security
Your API key is stored in your browser's local storage. The extension communicates directly with Claude's official API endpoint over HTTPS. We recommend revoking your API key from Claude's organization dashboard if you uninstall the extension.
